Ms. Young's Classroom
An Overview
For my classroom, I follow the NC Standard Course of Study for English Language Arts. My classroom is ran by the theory of Love and Logic, as are all the classrooms at Marjorie Williams Academy. My English classrooms offer a wide range of genres and literature. For example, I like to teach classic literature as well as contemporary works to help relate topics to my students. Students are also challenged in their writing skills, as they are asked to create pieces of writing that align with the NC ELA standards.
Note: These are just some of the works that I love to teach! This is not a permanent list nor is this a list of all the books that are available in my classroom.
